The Geno/Grinder is an automated high-throughput plant & animal tissue homogenizer and cell lyser. It is the ideal tool for the QuEChERS method used for extracting pesticide residues and other organic compounds, especially from cannabis flower and dry edibles. Uses vigorous up and down shaking of tubes with ceramic cylinders or stainless steel grinding balls to pulverize sample. Adjustable clamp accommodates several tube sizes in the appropriate foam holder. Typical sample processing time is 1-2 minutes, and the programmable touch screen stores up to 500 methods.
