Shim-pack Scepter columns consist of an organosilane hybrid particle for excellent stability and performance. The pentafluorophenyl ligand provides alternate selectivity to a C8 or C18, and is recommended for the analysis of aromatic and positively charged (especially N-containing) compounds. The PFPP phase can be used in reversed-phase mode with 100% aqueous conditions, or in HILIC mode for increased LCMS sensitivity. USP L43, pore size: 120A, pH range: 1-8, max pressure: 45 MPa/450 bar/6,500 psi, 15% carbon load, non-endcapped. A guard column is recommended to prolong the analytical column lifetime.
