The PFPP phase can be used in reversed-phase mode with 100% aqueous conditions, or in HILIC mode for increased LCMS sensitivity. PLS hardware eliminates adsorption and reduces tailing for compounds that tend to form chelates with metal surfaces, especially those containing phosphate groups.
