High-density surface coverage of the deactivation layer prevents water vapor from reaching the tubing surface and creating active sites which adsorb active oxygenated compounds, such as alcohols and diols. Extends analytical column lifetime by preventing degradation from harsh steam-cleaning water injections. Recommended for connecting GCs to headspace analyzers, air analysis equipment and concentrator units, purge-and-trap systems. Maximum temperature 325C. NOTE: Use caution during installation since cutting the high-temperature string from the tubing will cause the tubing to unravel.
