Ghost Trap

The Ghost Trap DS-HP column is installed between the mixer and injector and has an activated charcoal packing to trap impurities and contaminants from HPLC system parts and solvents.  The Ghost Trap can significantly reduce the appearance of ghost peaks and baseline abnormalities.  Both HPLC and UHPLC versions have a working pH range of 2-12 and are recommended for UV and PDA detectors only.  For LCMS compatibility, Use GLC Suction Filter 2 for Contaminant Removal, 370-02010-01.

The 4.0mm ID cartridge is recommended for columns with 2.1 or 3.0mm ID.  The 7.6mm ID cartridge is recommended for columns with 4.6mm ID.  Both have a maximum pressure rating of 35 MPa/350 bar/5100 psi.

The Ghost Trap for UHPLC has a maximum pressure rating of 100 MPa/1000 bar/14,500 psi.
