Highly selective for C1–C5 hydrocarbons, and separates all saturated and unsaturated hydrocarbon isomers above ambient temperatures. Recommended for best separation of butene isomers (impurities in butene streams.) Acetylene and propadiene elute after butanes. Methyl acetylene elutes after 1,3-butadiene. Cyclopropane (impurity in propylene) elutes well before propylene. Temperature range: -60 to 200C. Similar phases: Agilent CP-Al2O3/Na2SO4, GS-Alumina; Supelco/Millipore Sigma Alumina-Sulfate.
